For over a decade, Kester Black has been a well-loved Australian beauty brand, doing nail care better than anyone else. As the founders rebuilt their entire range from the ground up, Bandit partnered with them to reinvent the identity, carrying the brand forward without losing what people love about it.
Kester Black
Elevated Nail Care

Kester Black had reached a turning point. The business had outgrown its identity, and the brand needed to evolve to lead its next chapter. The challenge was to reinvent Kester Black from the ground up without losing the loyalty it had built.
We rebuilt the brand from top to bottom, anchored by a confident all-caps wordmark and distinctive hourglass brand mark. We created a packaging system designed to bring clarity and cohesion across the entire range centred on the concept of “LoFi Rituals”. A refined palette, new typefaces and considered art direction bring a sense of polish and personality to every touchpoint.

A rigorous competitor audit showed where Kester Black could own its space, and the colour palette we landed on was chosen to claim a clear area and stand out in a very loud category. We built a flexible packaging system that spans the full range, with clear hierarchy guiding customers through each product and ritual. That same thinking carried online, into a refreshed digital experience, email and social template system that keeps the brand consistent at scale. The result is a brand that feels bold, elevated and ready to grow with the business and give loyal customers a fresh reason to fall in love all over again.

From campaign to PDP to a global retail launch, Bandit partnered with Luna Bronze across a series of shoots that expanded their visual world. Milk, Deeper Glow, an Ulta Beauty launch and updated product imagery across the range came together through a shared language of texture, glow and a renewed POV.
